What kind of items do you pick up?

We accept a wide range of gently used books and media, including:

• Books of all kinds—textbooks, novels, children’s books, and comics

• DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, audiobooks, and video games

• Software and vinyl records

• Puzzles (only if you’ve confirmed all pieces are present)

• Board games (please make sure they’re complete)

Do you still take clothing or household items?

No—our service is now focused exclusively on books, media, and related items. We no longer accept clothing, linens, or other household goods.

What don’t you accept?

To keep things running smoothly, we’re unable to accept:

• Magazines or newspapers

• Moldy or mildewed books or media

• Incomplete puzzles or board games

• Household items not listed above

What happens to the items you collect?

We’re a local family-run business. Items we can resell help fund our free pickup service. Anything we can’t sell is donated through our community partners—like shelters and senior centers—so it still finds a second life and stays out of landfills.

Are you a non-profit?

No—we’re a small, local business, not a 501(c)(3). But we’re committed to helping our community through reuse and donation.

Can I get a tax receipt for my donation?

Because we’re not a non-profit, we can’t provide tax deduction forms. If a tax receipt is essential, we recommend donating to a certified charity. If not—we’re happy to pick up your items for free.

What if it’s raining or snowing?

We still pick up in all weather. Just make sure your items are covered or protected so they stay dry and usable.

How should I prepare my items for pickup?

To help things go smoothly:

• 📦 Use small moving boxes (16″ x 12″ x 12″ or smaller) and keep each under 50 lbs

• 🧳 If you don’t have boxes, sturdy plastic bags are fine as long as one person can carry them safely

• 🧩 Please make sure board games and puzzles are complete—no missing pieces

When will you pick up my items?

We ask that all items be placed outside by 12:00 noon on your scheduled pickup day. Our pickup window is between 12 PM and 8 PM, though we can’t guarantee an exact arrival time. Thanks for your patience!

Is there a minimum or maximum for pickup?

We don’t have a maximum, but we do ask that you have at least one full box of books or one full bag of media. Unfortunately, we can’t offer free pickup for a single book or CD.

Can I schedule multiple pickups?

Absolutely. If you’re working on a big cleanout and need us to come more than once, just let us know in the “Additional Comments” section of the Pickup Request Form. We’re happy to help make room as you go.

What areas do you service?

Our free pickup area includes the following Indiana counties:

• Morgan

• Johnson

• Monroe

• Hendricks

• Marion

• Boone

• Hamilton

If you’re nearby but just outside these counties, feel free to send a request—we’ll do our best to help!
